UB Implements Smoke-Free Campus Policy

The University at Buffalo administration and UB Council have announced a smoke-free policy that was implemented on August 1st. Smoking is now prohibited inside and outside of all buildings, as well as on the grounds surrounding these buildings. Beginning on August 1, 2010, all 3 Buffalo campuses will be completely smoke-free, including parking lots. UB has joined a growing number of college campus that have adopted a 100-percent smoke-free policy.
