Buffalo Divers Make a Statement at Wildcat Invitational

Junior Kenny Rhoades and Senior Meili Carpenter traveled to Tucson, Arizona prior to Thanksgiving to compete in the Wildcat Invite at the University of Arizona. The 3-day competition provided both athletes with the opportunity to perform against some of the best collegiate divers in the country.

During the first day of competition, Meili placed 3rd on 3-meter with a final round score of 289.00. Kenny placed 12th overall with a consolation final round score of 273.30. The women's 1-meter competition turned out to be one of the most exciting of the weekend as Meili stepped up to win the event with an impressive final round score of 301.20! Kenny finished the weekend with an 11th place finish on platform with a 6-dive score of 208.70.
