Carpenter Named MAC Scholar-Athlete of the Week

Senior Meili Capenter was recently named the Mid-American Conference's Women's Scholar-Athlete of the Week following her performances at the Wildcat Invitational in Tucson, Arizona.

Meili is a graduate student in Science Education and has maintained a 3.77 GPA. She won the 1-meter competition at the Wildcat Invite and placed 3rd in hte 3-meter championship final. Meili's 1-meter score of 301.20 was the only score above 300 points and placed her ahead of divers from BYU, Stanford, New Mexico, Northern Arizona, and Arizona State.

The MAC Scholar Athlete of the Week honor is presented to a MAC male and female student-athlete who has a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better and performs well during the week's competition. The winners are selected by the Conference's faculty athletic representatives.
